Help Identify Fur Coat

I have a feeling this coat might be something big. The name is embroidered on the inside, big letter H and in the center of the H it reads Elinor.

Hi there, The name there is a monogram which is often embroidered onto the linings of fur coats for identification purposes. If you need further help with identification of the fur or determining age please show photos of the coat itself.

One last question, it's okay to take to the cleaners and wear since it does not have a good value? I really appreciate your help, I would have never known. Thank you you've made my weekend and perhaps entire year.

Hi again,
If you want to have it cleaned you would be okay to take it to a furrier to have it cleaned but not to a regular dry cleaner. Dry cleaners use agents that can ruin the pelts or the skins. Furriers use different agents that protect and keep the pelts and skins of fur garments pliable.

For reference here's a portion of one of my pastel mink fur capes. Pastel mink can range in shades from more of a sandy color to more of a honey color.

That is beautiful, I appreciate your help and I'll make sure to do as you say. Thank you and have a good night.

My mom no longer wants this fur coat. She almost gave it away at a yard sale....I've searched and searched for identification on the internet with no luck. It is a beautiful stole...The lining is a beautiful olive green - with detailed embroidery - bearing the name Mary C Spicer embroidered repeatedly with a flower pattern inside. There is a tag on it that says Romley. I just don't want her to "give" it away at a yard sale until we know what she has.
