Picked these up at a vintage store, no logos just some large bolt letters ... NTE... LNI 6 on the insole... could these be some army boots or other service boots
Those are generally known as paratrooper or "jump" boots. I have a pair in my inventory that were made by Endicott & Johnson that date back to WW2.
The original ones were made of cordovan (horsehide). There are also lace-up-to-the-calf WW2 jump boots out there made by Corcoran - those seem more commonly available. This style is still being made as a repro.
