Can somebody help me identify this dress? Didn’t purchase it fast enough on Etsy today and I’m devastated. It was listed as a vintage Christmas costume/majorette parade dress. Any info about it at all would be absolutely amazing!

That absolutely makes sense! That was very helpful, thank you! Now, I wonder if it’s an authentic one. It sold for only $48. I see that the Irish dancing dresses are QUITE expensive. Maybe they just didn’t know what they had.

Also, I believe my dream of finding another one just died.

I agree, looks like an Irish Dancing dress. The seller definitely didn't know what it was by the description you gave above.
