Help Identifying a Balenciaga Silk Scarf – Age, Collection, and Any Info?

Hi everyone,

I have a beautiful Balenciaga scarf that I’d love to learn more about. Unfortunately, it has no label, but it looks and feels like silk, so I believe it’s 100% silk. The design is quite unique, and I haven’t been able to find anything similar online.

I’d appreciate any help in identifying:

• The approximate age of the scarf (vintage or recent?)
• The collection or year it may have been released
• Any history or background info about similar Balenciaga scarves

What a beautiful scarf. I cannot be certain but I would say early 1980s.
