HELP identifying fabric please!

Hello - Does anyone know what this fabric is called? It is a sample sent to me by my mother from some curtains she had made in the early 80s - they are still in use! I am looking for fabric to make similar curtains - something heavy, woven and 'natural looking'....Any suggestions would be really appreciated!

It looks like Haitian Cotton to me. Do you remember if the curtains were more "off white" than your photo appears?
