Help identifying fur coat

Hello everyone! I recently acquired this fur coat and wanted to see if anyone could help me in this forum to identify what it is(time period, value etc.). All I know is the woman that I got it from said it is golden sable fur. I wish it had a tag but it does have a stamp reading “431 431” upside down by the collar of the coat. The details in the lining of the jacket are very interesting too. Hopefully some of you guys can help!! Thanks in advance

Oh my! I had a very similar vintage coat back in 1970s. Mine was from the 1940s and yours has that look also. I do not think it is sable, but it is fantastic!

I agree with Barbara, that it looks 1940s with those balloon sleeves and that style of embroidery on the lining. It's hard to detemine the type of fur though.

It's some kind of weasel - which one I don't know - marten perhaps?
