Help Identifying Genuine Fur Jacket

Hi!

HELP!! I got this fur jacket from a vintage shop. The fur is not as soft as rabbit and I have no idea what is it. But I opened a few seam to inspect and its genuine.

Now, I am confused about who made this? The tag says “Rosette” (Paris). But the full lining has Lanvin Markings.

I hope you guys can help me to have more details about this jacket. Thank you!!

This is Blue Iris Mink worked in a chevron Pattern. Rosette was a friend of mine. She designed for Ben Kahn Furs in the early 1980's.
Not sure why it would have two labels.
It needs professional fur cleaning. That would make it look amazing.

Wooow!! This is really interesting!! Maybe she had a collab work with Lanvin during that time. Since from my research the label of lanvin here was used during 70's - 80's

I really doubt that - perhaps BK just used the Lanvin lining they had on hand or their customer picked it out to match the fur.
Not sure what you paid for this but it was quite valuable in its day.

Honestly I bought it for a very cheap price, like a dollar. No idea about its price tbut lucky to have it. ❤

WOW !!!
I am guessing in it's day it sold for at least 5K, maybe more bc it's a rare natural color. If you plan on wearing it please have it professionally cleaned by a furrier NOT a regular cleaner.

Philippines! Due to our weather theres little cleaning services for this type of item.. But in high end malls I found that they can clean something like this..

As long as they are professional fur cleaners you should have no problem.

I actually have another fur item. But it has all the info. Its from peking fur hong kong (are u familiar?) and its rabbit.
