Help identifying Liberty House tiki shirt

Hello - hoping someone can help me identify the style of this Liberty House tiki shirt. From the archive the label appears to be from the 1970s. However, I can't figure out what style the shirt is. It has the wide collar and two pockets /pouches at hip level. I've assumed it to be a men's shirt, but let me know if I'm wrong there. Thank you very much!

if a shirt buttons left over right is considered menswear, right over left, womenswear, so yours is menswear.

even though the print on the torso isn't all the way to the hem, the sleeves definitely have border-print hems.

those long collar points are an indicator of 70s, as you suggest.

locals refer to these as aloha shirts, they're also Hawaiian and/or tiki shirts.

Thanks very much! I didn't know if the pocket-style would mean the shirt would be called something different.

not that I'm aware of. my father-in-law was born and raised on Oahu, and he never wore shirts with pockets like that. Typical aloha shirts have a single breast pocket (wearer's left side), not those lower ones. They may have some influence from Guayabera shirts which generally have two lower pockets, more of patch pockets rather than set in hidden pockets like yours has, though.

This is a cool shirt. Does it have side slits? It looks to me like something you wore over pants - not tucked into them, also with those low-sitting pockets. Maybe even part of a set with matching pants or shorts?
I agree, not a classic Hawiian shirt, but very cool!
