Help identifying reddish vintage fur?

Hello~ I've been lurking this forum for years now haha, since the start if the pandemic when I started collecting Vintage clothes, but this is the first time I'm actually asking for help.

I just bought this coat for a super cheap price and I'm stumped. The fur looks too long to be mink but too short and silky to be fox (though the coloring looks like fox) the pattern on the back makes me think fitch but it doesn't seem long/fluffy enough to be fitch and the color is throwing me off.
