Help in dating a parasol PLEASE

I just couldn't resist this little sweetie, but I am unsure of its age. Any ideas? It is silk, the pole is wood, the handle is? and the little cap on top?

My first thought was a 20's beach babe?

That handle might be celluloid. Although it could be bakelite. I am leaning toward celluloid. With that style and frame, I think maybe an umbrella of the 20s. The cover looks anywhere from the 20s - 50s, but the handle does look earlier.
