Help me date these tiny little shoes...

I need some help dating all of these shoes. I have recently been finding the cutest shoes in the tiniest sizes - 4 1/2 US.

The first are brown suede & leather with ankle strap by Tweedies Alluring Footwear - 40's ???

The next is this cute pair of slingbacks with red bow on vamp by Valley Shoes 50's or later...

Thanks in advance for everyones help.... Also, I've been toying with the idea of listing these as a lot because of the small size. Do you think that is a good idea or should I list them seperate.

Small shoes may be harder to sell for people who actually like to wear vintage, but they sure look cuter!

These look like they all came from the same source -- other than size, they are all similar taste too. The first pair of two-tone brown and the wedge pair are the two oldest and are early 50s (1950-54ish). The black mesh are early - mid 50s (1952-56ish), and everything else is mid 50s (1954-1957ish), so its entirely possible that all these shoes were bought in the same year, they just cover the array of styles available at the same time.

Its hard to suggest what to do... they are all good quality but not designer shoes. I personally like the first brown pair the best and might be inclined to single that pair out, and sell the rest in one lot.

What's funny is that I keep meeting itty bitty vintage gals who complain that they can never find tiny vintage shoes!
There's not as many of those size 4 feet out there, so the competition for the shoes isn't as fierce as, say, for a size 9... but there are still buyers.
I have a gal who comes through our space regularly now looking for size 4 1/2s. Yay!

VERY cute shoes -- love the ones with the red bows!

Have to agree with Jonathan on the display point. Something about tiny shoes that make great display fodder. Maybe it's less viewing of the insoles, such as you get when glancing at my size 11 shoes. :BAGUSE:

carrie thats just what l would do...wall sconces and shoes on each as a wallf eature..
