Help me date this bathing suit?

Can you help me date this sexy bathing suit? It's in Near Mint Condition, I don't think it was ever worn. The main tag is green on white, and says "Sea Jets by Curtis Eddy for" in that order. It has a black and white union label. It's made of acetate/cotton/rubber in a rich blue. Inside the bosom it is lined with white cotton with very stiff cups, and the straps are lined as well, with two back buttonholes and clear buttons. It has a back metal zipper with hooks on top, and over the bottom elastic panty, it has a double-chevroned front.

Inside it is also marked XL and 42. My mannequin is plus-sized. Thanks!

A 1961 ad in a newspaper advertised a similarly-styled (but floral) suit. The text said:

"Jets Curtis Eddy Form; $6.95 to $12.95; All have Curtis Eddy form built in bra."
