I picked this up at a drama department warehouse sale. I haven't cleaned it yet, as I'm unsure about how to go about it yet.

Metal zip, didn't check for tags and I'm at work at the moment so update on that later possibly, armpit gaurds (YES! something not ruined by armpit stains.), Haven't done a burn test yet. Just curious as to date, kind of dress, how to clean, and maybe a price point?

Thanks so much!

I think 60s, too, and would be very interested to see if there's a maker's label in this. It's very reminiscent of one of my fave design houses. Do let us know what you find, please!

I am not saying anything on date wise, I rarely disagree with some, but I felt 50s first and then i see the 60s too, could be a fashion forward or fashion back piece lol... but just dont know but I LOVE IT!!!!

what are the measurements of this?

please don't fit, please don't fit....... :drooling22:

New photos!

I listed it today and got some new photos for everyone including the tag.

The one is the armpit guard. Maybe it helps with dating?

I am coming in late on this, but each time I see the image of this neat dress, I wonder where the jacket went. In my experience a lot of dresses from the late 1950's early 1960's had short jacket tops. It would have been designed so that the bow showed. The ensemble look was popular then as well as at other time periods.
