Help mending silk jersey fabric

I have a 70s silk jersey dress that has a few tiny holes. I thought of using Bondex but it's so stiff for this fabric not to mention I'm not crazy about the idea of using a hot iron on it. So I may end up hand sewing the holes closed but the repairs will be noticeable. Wondering if there's a better way...?

If it were mine I would darn the holes with a matching thread - darning is different from sewing them closed. It will not be invisible, but it may not be too obvious, depending on your skill with a needle. The slight varigation in the colour pattern on the fabric is in your favour.

I am with Jonathon here- see if you can get it invisibly mended but it is super expensive usually.
Where on the garment are the holes? it is hard to tell from your pic, but looks like front shoulder maybe? if they are at the shoulder you could sew on a false front yoke section in a matching colored fabric at each side to conceal the damage.
If not- Is there any fabric in the hem you can steal from? if so, I would place tiny sections of fabric under the holes and do your best to darn the holes over the fabric and the edge of the holes so it has some strength.
Good luck with the repair!
