Hi, the pointed toes on these shoes are throwing me off. I'm pretty sure they are 50s but want to reconfirm.

Do you have a pic of the insoles? I don't think they are 1950s.

I don't think they look like 50s either. The shape of the toe looks a bit too pointy. My first thought was 70s, too.

I'm pretty sure they were worn by a cheerleader in the mid to late 60s but I thought maybe they could have been a sister's or friend's that were handed down. Does mid to late 60s make sense?

The saddle shoes we woree in the 60s all had leather soles. Not that there were not saddle shoes made with rubber bottoms, but I never saw any.

I remember Spalding Oxfords had leather soles in the 50s and 60s. I used to wear them and recall that , too. One of my friends always got an off brand saddle shoe that did have white soles and I wanted those for some reason and my parents wouldn't get anything but Spaldings! So maybe there were some that did have other types of soles in the 60s. I never remember anything that looked like this in the 60s. Hope some of our shoe experts will comment soon. It will be interesting to hear what they say about the date.
