Help needed to identify designer

So I found this gorgeous dress on a page for damaged dresses. It was so beautiful I decided to purchase it to try to restore it back to its former Beauty but I'd love to know if anybody had any idea of the designer! It's 1950s, and the interior bodice is silk with boning. It's constructed so well that I believe that it was probably a very expensive piece at some point and it reminded me of an old Dior I saw years ago. There's no tags so I have no way of finding out who the designer was and I haven't made any Headway online so any help would be appreciated!

It's lovely, but unless you find an actual label somewhere, I guess it will be hard to identify a designer. Keep in mind, it might also not be by a designer but a maybe a bespoke garment by a seamstress/fashion salon. I can see that it is beautifully made inside. I have something not similar in design, but also a 1950s cocktail dress with a unique-looking design and made using high-end techniques - and not a label in sight.

I figured that may be the case, but its such a cool piece with an interesting silhouette. I'm restoring it, so I was hoping someone recognizes it. Its a long shot, but worth a try!
