Help needed to identify Saint Laurent coat

Please can anyone help me find out any more about this lovely coat - pictures attached? I can tell from your label resource that it is from the 1980's, but know nothing else. I have been given it amongst a lot of other vintage items to raise funds for my charity, and before I try to find a buyer, I would like to know how best to describe it, and what sort of price is likely to be achieved.

I am not a YSL expert by any means, so please wait for the real experts to comment. It being Easter and all, you may have to wait until tomorrow for the real experts.

In the meantime, I can tell you it is from his ready-to-wear line, and says early 1980s to me. Also, I have a piece with the exact same label in my collection that I know was from 1983, as it belonged to my mother. Velvet trims were popular at that time, especially around 1984.

As to price, I cannot help at all, but I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will come along to help. As with all vintage pieces, condition is extremely important and will factor heavily in the garment's worth.
