I'm struggling to determine the age of this collar. I'm not sure, but I believe the sequins are gelatin. They are flat and not metal. The tiny beads look like jet. 1930s-40s?

Yes, I would imagine a simple neckline. This is a photo from 1947 (Nina Leen).
It is the fact that it is on that tulle that makes me feel it is 30s as that was so popular at the time...with collars and capelets.
