I have a Guy Laroche Boutique, Paris, women's evening suit here, a jacket in a brocade-type fabric with metallic trimming and a long, straight velvet skirt. Is this mid 80's, or late 80's? I seem to remember these big sleeves in the lates, but can't remember for sure. This particular Laroche label does date from the 80's, according to the resource, I think.... Is it too late in the season to list this, with the velvet skirt? It's probably more holiday-ish, but could be a Valentine's Day dinner outfit, or winter wedding attire, cruise wear (?). I did just sell a velvet dress, so somebody's still buying velvet! It's a great size, about a 12 to 14, I think (the conversion from the European puts it at a 16, I think, but it's smaller than that). These may have been separates, but they're the same size so I'm sure they were purchased to be worn together! TIA!
