Hello,,,

AGAIN lol... I am so confused by this one... my gut is saying 60s and 40s.... so I have no clue... the colors are throwing me off badly I think....

The lapel /collar is very straight and there are two hip patch type pockets (I tried to circle them but the coloring/stripes makes them hard to see)

fully linned, appears to be seamstress made? or novelty piece from another country? but not manufactured thats for sure.. no closure methods at all... small thin shoulder pads on the outter shoulders...

also very satin like material... is there such a thing as rayon satin? cause thats what if feels like lol.., cool slick but finished like satin but has that weired feeling to it.. so I know its not silk... maybe acetate?

I took pictures of the shoulder seams... there are 3.. one at shoulder.. one under the lapel, and one that extends just below the breast inbetween shoulder and lapel..

Thank you all for any advice or clues on this one... I feel older 40is... but kinda feel 60s too... no gut on this one just tons of questions!:powwows:

Stunning piece - I think it's late '30s or possibly early '40s with those shoulders and that wonderful colourful satin - you're probably right about it being rayon. The late '30s seemed to produce some wonderfully vibrant printed satins.

thank you,,, you know how it is when you first see a pice,,, you just know the age then you look at it and then you correct yourself and then you are unsure which was right,, first impression of the "educated" guess hahaha,,, also I have neever come across a jacket of this era and this pattern to compare it too other than similar 60s pieces... but the construction seemed to well made for 60s...

thank you ladies... :-) yall are wonderful,,
