Help to identify beaded silk purse.

Hello, this lovely beaded purse is not in great condition, but I am wondering about its age. I was wanting to sell it, but wondered if you think it is too bad of condition. I think the gold pearl topped lock is very interesting. I could find no markings anywhere. Thanks for any helpful advice.

I've seen worse sold on ebay. It would go as a piece for someone new to collecting perhaps or for design study/inspiration. I don't think it could be fixed because the outer base material is going, and this holds the embellishment in place. Best to box it flat in something like an empty handkerchief or chocolate box with acid free tissue paper to reduce movement.
