Help to identify ladies belt

Hi new to this my first post any info regarding this belt be much appreciated. I know its at least 80yrs old has no identification marks

Thank you for your help i cant find a picture of one anywhere i am looking to find out some sort of value for my mum any ideas where i can find out more
 
I would agree with 1930s as the purpose seems to be to draw attention to the waist.
A specialist auction house would be able to value it for you. What country are you in? In the UK I would suggest Kerry Taylor Auctions. We also have a US auction house that is a member here someone else I'm sure will remember the name of.
 
This same type of rhinestone braid or belting, used for a variety of accessories, was popular back in the 1920s and early 1930s. I have come across it used as a belt, or sewn onto a garment itself (on the cuffs for instance), and also as hair accessories or millinery bandeaux. The rhinestones on delicate silver chains like you show could be purchased wholesale by the yard back then and made into various accessories. On your belt, the buckle of choice would have been added by the maker.
