Help Verifying Mink Fur Coat & Era - 1950s Mink Coat?

Hi,
I have a patterned fur coat that I am pretty sure is mink.
The coat is lined with brown silk with a floral pattern and is labeled "Friedman Furs Since 1894 Grand Forks, N.D.". DSCF4019.jpgDSCF4021.jpgDSCF4041.jpgDSCF4039.jpgDSCF4050.jpgDSCF4052.jpg

The sleeves are cuffed, and there's 1 large button closure at neck with two larger eye/hook closures down the front. I was thinking this looked to be from the 1950s, however, I am unsure.

Any tips on dating furs would be greatly appreciated - what I need to look for, etc.

Hi Brooke, I hope you had a wonderful holiday and are off to a great start in the new year. You are pretty much correct on your thoughts. It looks like pieced Mink and the collar, the wide turned back cuffs, and that lining all look 50s to me.
