Help w/ Coat....30\'s or Older?

No idea why I am messing w/ coats, but this one just came into the shop & I LOVE it, so wanted to get it into my store online (or site?) soon....I thought 30s but am wondering if it may be earlier....the back is very full, but no seaming or pleating like you see on some things that go over bustles.....silk lined, VERY heavy. Hidden buttons of thick shell. And superb detail, huge collar! OK. Anyway, pics, thoughts? Thanks!!! Ang

THe wide collar, flared sleeve with slight puff at to top and flared hem suggests to me about 1901 on the nose.

Ditto what the last two said - Dang it Ang - you get the most amazing stuff. Those sleeves are the icing on the cake. And it looks clean. I buy something new that color and it is soiled the next day. Amanda

its on ebay, in my store now....its measuring pretty small. 34 bust, 28 waist, 38 hips. Ang

Ah, and that size would be just right for me. I looked it up in your store and my lord, she's a beauty...and worth your price. I just have trouble spending that at the moment, but I may give in!

I based the price on a VERY similar in silhouette, but double breasted (no appliques, and shorter) Edwardian PEA COAT that sold for about the same.

Did you know there were pea coats back then? Seems the pea coat has become quite a broad range of styles!!!
