Hi guys. First time here.

I found a great store over the weekend and scored a few items. I've been trying to date them, but haven't had all that much luck so far... any help would be greatly appreciated. This item has a WPL number which I traced to a company called HARPER SHIRT CO INC. Seems they were based in NYC, but aren't any longer. Haven't found much about them online so far.

Item:
Blue sweatshirt, with yellow detailing and red/blue/yellow stripped cuffs on white.

Thanks for looking!

Thanks so much for the help!

I was shocked by how soft and warm it was when I put it on. They don't make 'em like they used to.

I'm hoping to track down some info about the company, though it might take awhile. Do you guys have any suggestions as to where to start with that? I'm going to look around for a database of historic ads online... but seems like a long shot.

Unfortnately, you can't always find info on makers. I wouldn't waste your time - it's a great late 70's sweatshirt (back before "rainbows" meant anything other than a sunny, rainy day!) that really shouldn't' need much more than the facts to sell it :)

Best of lucK!

( I will say, however, that I appreciate your willingness to DO research & find out more, when so many new vintage sellers simply list things on a whim with no real idea of what the stuff they're listing really IS. Thanks :)
