Help with a date for a Vintage Maternity lace suit

Hi i have a pink & lace Maternity skirt & Top

The label reads Maxlim, i asked my mum if she remebered this as i thourght it could be late 70s early 80s But she seems to think it could be alittle earlier ?
The skirt ties in panels on the lining to ajust for a growing bump.and the top is cut A line.with a pleated chiffon neckline.

My first instinct was 60s. It is very pretty!

Definitely not 80's.

I found this ad through a google search. It's dated 1942.

I was actually thinking fifties, as it reminds me of Lucille Ball's wardrobe on the show, and the label looks 50's-ish to my eye.

Hi and thank you all for your replies,
It has alittle under arm discolouration but otherwise its all intact, i just re looked at the way it fastens, it buttons on both sides, with a middle panel on the front,that all ties together,
ive had my 3rd child nearly 2 years ago, and i wish i had had this then to wear for a wedding,thanks again for all your replies

I would say 50s too, and I agree with Joules about the "Lucy" look about it.
