Help With a Dress...Late 40\'s or 50\'s?

Hello...

I need some opinions on the date of this Barbette jersey day dress. I am leaning toward 50's, but I have this nagging feeling that it could possibly be late 40's. What do you think?

Also, are any here familiar with this label? I have goggled and searched the USPTO with no luck!

Most of the ads I find are from the 50's, but this one is from 1947.

It looks like nylon jersey - I would date it as '50s.

I quite like it as a material - it's comfortable and hangs well and is also easy care.

I agree with others' dating, and also with Nicole's comment about the fabric. I sold a 50's nylon jersey dress last year from my own collection, and now wish I hadn't. It was truly wash 'n wear, and SO comfy....
