Help with Age Of Bonnet and Lace Please

Hello All

I'm kind of out of my field when it comes to lace. Any idea what this is? I checked a lace resource and it kind of looks like Alencon but I'm not sure. Also any idea of the era? Victorian? Edwardian?

Tammy, I think they look like embroidered applique' panels, sewn onto the tulle. What does it look like on the underside? Is it stitched on or part of the design?

Hi Tammy,
What a darling bonnet! I don't see any drawstrings etc on the inside... looks like tulle with perhaps Ayshire appliques, ca. 1840s-50s or thereabouts

Very pretty. I think it may be European, it has a Swiss/Germanic or possibly other European feel to it.

Oh....Hi Sue! I know you love these old lace caps and bonnets, and I was glad to see you included them in your recent book "Hats and Bonnets". I found that fascinating.
