Help with an Austrian made swimsuit

Hello all,

I recently purchased this awesome one piece swimsuit and the only tag inside it states "Made in Austria" but near one of the leg openings a little metal crown is sewn onto the swimsuit. I was wondering if anyone has come across this before and happens to know who the maker is? Thanks for any and all help!

Hi Jessica,

Your swimsuit is by Triumph - this crown is their logo. You can check their history in the label resource . I have books on advertising in Austria in the 50s and 60s here, that show 60s ads with the same crown logo as well. Palmers, which is an Austrian company, have a crown logo too, but theirs is quite different.

Thanks - I wrote up those LR entries, but at first I wasn't sure anymore if this crown was Triumph or Palmers .
