Help with Chanel Suit, please.

Can you help me date this Chanel Boutique Suit - excuse the quick images, the suit needs pressing!

Bright yellow, ¾-length sleeves with notch at the cuff edge, single-breasted with gold Chanel buttons, large patch pockets with notch and button. The skirt is quite short.

I'll be listing it soon (once I re-shoot it for better images) but I'm not sure of a starting price??? Any help, much appreciated.

I think it is mid to late 90s, with the sleeve length and all. But these Chanel suits are so classic, it's really hard to tell. This is the ready-to-wear label that I think they started using sometime in the 80s. Before that, the r-t-w label read "Chanel Creations".

That is one, sweet suit, Margaret, and Chanel Boutique items aren't chicken scratch. Here, in the land of prom queens (*snicker*), we, of course, have a Chanel Boutique. We're still talking $1,000-plus, original retail. I'd definitely steam or iron it, and I think the cut of yours is more 'now,' but I have a pink, linen one up right now with a comparatively-low opener of $249.99
