Help with Chombert Please

I recently purchased a Chombert Paris jacket at a thrift store. From initial research it's from Henri and Carole Chombert who seem to be world famous parisian furriers from the 1960's whose clientele included Elizabeth Taylor, Sofia Loren, and Henry Bogart. Is anybody familiar with this brand?

Can anybody help identify the age, animal, and is this something special? Not sure what exactly I have here....

The coat is cream in color with light/dark brown pattern, black suede trim, and silk lined.

Thank you!

I've been waiting for someone else to see this and reply, since this is an interesting and pretty coat! I don't know what kind of fur it is, but the coat looks 60s. Maybe if no one else chimes in you could re-post the question asking "What kind of fur is this?"

To me it looks like calf or goat hide or something similar, but I'm not the most knowledgable person here on fur. Agree it's an interesting coat. I'm not familiar with the label either. Hopefully someone else will come by.

Like Ruth my immediate impression was calf, but from the quick image searches I did (search hair-on hide) it looked unlikely to get such a white hide.
It reminded me of some apres ski boots I had a while back which Jonthan suggested might have been kangaroo or seal hide (these skins can be treated and coloured) and that got me thinking about seal - because a pup is white while it is young and turns grey which would fit with the flecking throughout your coat.
