Help with date on velvet coat

Wondering if I could get some help with a date on this velvet coat. It doesn't have any tags of course. The velvet is soft and it is lined with a satiny material and a kind of faux fur around the edges and at the pits. The collar has a hook and eye closure as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! :kiss2:

It looks like a rayon velvet late '50s coat - the satin lining is probably acetate or rayon too. I don't see any faux fur?

It looks like it could possibly be a Marguerite Rubel, or a similarly styled article. Same question, regarding the faux fur?

I remember my sister wearing this kind of coat in the 50's. "Faux fur at the pits" ... Hmmm - that doesn't sound too good!

I see late 50s too but can not see any fur.

Oh my it was late and I was trying to recall things from memory. So the entire inside lining is a faux fur with the exception of the arms starting at the pits The lining in the arms is a soft satin type. Sorry for the confusion....Thank you for the responses
