Help with dating a fabulous lingerie piece...

Just picked up this piece the other day, which I think is absolutely lovely, but since it has no labels at all, I am unable to determine its age. I was hoping that maybe someone out there might have a good idea?

first glance reminds me of the Jennifer Anniston slip dresses that were wildly popular for a while ~ mid 90s, or thereafter~ maybe

With the split where it is, I'm going with '70s. Is it nylon?

I remember that episode of Friends where she wears that slip dress, passing it off as an actual dress...it does have a similarity

Nicole...as for the fabric, it feels/looks like a nylon mesh underlining and lace overlay. Does the position of the slit really aid in determining its age?

Those three quarter slits are uncommon, so for me at least, it helps. The fabric (thank you for confirming it) also suggests '60s or '70s - but Mary's right, these styles were back again in the '90s (but I don't remember seeing the 3/4 slits then).

i received some w/ the 3/4 slits for some of my bridal showers, that was in 1990.

I thank you both for your help with this....love the feedback I receive on here each and every time. Regardless whether its 60's/70's or 90's, I think its beautiful and if I decide to sell it, I'll play it safe, ensuring I give all the information I now know thus far.

If the shoulder straps are elasticized, I'd go with 90s.
