Hi, I recently bought a stunning gown and matching shawl from a car boot stall (I'm in the UK) and got home to discover it's a Joseph Ribkoff dress. Could anyone help me with dating the year/era it is from? I've attached some pictures of the label and the dress. Many thanks

This dress may have been made in Canada, but it was made for export as the care symbols are the European style symbols. Canadian care symbols used coloured symbols (red, yellow, green) until 2003, but this dress lookss early-mid 90s to me - I think it was Prada that did slip dresses first in 92/93?.

Hi Jonathan,

Thanks for your reply, that's a great help. I couldn't find any information anywhere relating to it.
