The labels look the same on MB's, so I'm hoping someone has some insight on dating based on style or details?
It has a giant built in crinoline (these pictures do it no justice)
Skirt is floor length

Here are some photos

I'd love to provide more info/photos if needed :)

I could swear my girlfriend had this exact same dress but in pinks. She was our homecoming queen in 1986 and went on to compete in the America's Homecoming Queen pageant. She wore the dreas for the eveningwear competition. Odd that I can remember it so well.

I keep in touch with her...think I will Facebook her and see if she still has to check label. I know her parents paid quit a price for the dress.

I know very late... but looking at that label.. I have had a TON of Mike Benets and that label ive never seen on anything earlier than 70s. I also think 80s...

I worked for the company in the 80's and 90's. It started in Pittsburg Texas in the early 60's and the original owners and seamstresses sold to a Dallas company in the mid-90's. The "company" that makes them now (if they are still open) has NOT been in business for that long as they did not offer any of the seamstresses who were there for those many years a position when the company sold. If you have facebook I can give you the contact information of a lady who can give you estimated dates of the dresses manufacturing. My email is [email protected]. The Red, White and Black is 80's. Feel free to send photos to my email with dresses you would like "dated".
