Help with dating a vintage wool coat

Greetings to all,

Recently, I am stuck in a little dilemma regarding a vintage coat that I don’t know if it’s worth buying; I really wanted for a while to buy a true vintage one (as the quality of these garments is more qualitative than that of the modern ones I’ve seen).
To get right to my question, does anyone know more about the coats made by “Lanificio G.B. Conte dal 1757” or about the wool mark symbol? From my inexperienced eye, I think that the coat (the one from the photos attached previously) may be from the ‘60s. (But I am not 100% sure.)

~Many thanks again for your attention and help!

*my apologies for my English. I am not a native speaker.

You may already know this but according to Google translate, it means
G.B. Wool Mill Conte (dating from 1757 ). It supposedly is the oldest Italian wool company. If you search for it in English, there is quite a bit about it. Here is a bit of info:
“The factory dedicated to Giovanni Battista Conte is located in the intersection between Via Pasubio and Via XX Settembre and is one of the oldest existing woolen mills in the City (1757).
G.B. Count procured raw materials to the artisans of the area for first and then became himself an entrepreneur.”
“The first memory of the Lanificio G.B. Conte woollen mill dates back to October 28, 1757, when Antonio Conte takes over the workshop of Giovanni Antonio Donadelli.”

Thank you very much for your answer, Victoria. I knew this little bit of history of this brand (that is a very old company); I may have written my question badly, for which I apologise, but what I wanted to know is if someone owns a piece made by this brand or if it can confirm that is indeed vintage (from the 1950s/ 1960s) or is from the 80s.

~Many thanks again for your answer! (Which is really appreciated) All the best!

From what I’ve searched about this symbol (and the one present on the coat’s label), it may mean that is a product of the 60’s?
The Woolmark is still used today. So if you see the Woolmark, all you know for sure is that it can't be earlier than 1964.

You may be right that your coat is from the 60s - but I'm not sure either!

Hopefully someone will have more confidence to date it by the style.

There is a photo that shows a coat without a fur collar
In the photo, I think I see the bottom edge of the fur collar peeking out from inside. Which seems odd. I wonder if the collar was an aftermarket addition?

The militaristic mock-neck style of the collar, without the fur is very 80s. The print on the tags is also 80s. The lovely fur collar gives it a terrific 60s vibe, and you will be warmer with full length sleeves than the 60s shortened sleeves to show off long gloves. I think this is a terrific pairing that will suit many looks. And, the fur is real! I would definitely take advantage of 80s length sleeves on a 60s vibe coat, if you are buying to keep. I've sold off all of my 60s coats because my arms were cold!
