help with dating and fabric of scarf

having trouble with this scarf....the material isn't something I'm familiar with...it's sort of crepe-y and rayony but neither...have no idea of the age or what to call the printing technique...any help much appreciated.

It looks 40s to me and silk screened and most likely a rayon crepe. Let's see what others have to say.
