Help with dating and 'type' casting Mode Le Maurice dress

Hi There All,
Wondering if anyone has heard of this label. It strikes me as a late 60s or early 70s as I think my mother had something similar. Am also not sure what you would call this sort of dress that has the double layer stitched right onto the dress.

I see 60s in this one. It reminds me of dresses my grandmother wore for special occasions such as weddings. I would say definitely styled for an older woman.

I love the font on the label...so Goth!
