Help With Dating I. Magnin Silk Shoes

I acquired these black and gold silk flats today and am having a hard time dating them. Some of the inside identifying info is worn off. It is a silk upper, all other materials "man-made" Not sure where they were made. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!

The font used for the logo would suggest 1980's to me, as would the metallic sock (insole liner) and general shape.
