Hi All,
Do these boots tell their age? I was thinking 1970s, but wonder if it is just a 'classic' style as they still manufacture something similar....the bottom heel is marked "Ultra".
Thanks,
Lauren

R.M.Williams are an Australian company of about 80 years old (not terribly old but that passes for old around here). You're right Lauren: they're riding boots and the style doesn't change much. You can see their current boot here, it's available in lots of variations but it looks like the same one you have. They're good quality and expensive.

I can see two possible points of difference on your boot - the squarish toe and the woven pull tabs. This boot is generally immune to fashion but I associate that squarish toe with early '90s and the woven pull tab is fairly recent too: I don't know when they started using them but I'll wager it's not pre'90s.

So I'll go '90s for your boots, but they could be more modern.
