a bed jackets are short, usually only to the waist~ so it is not a bed jacket, but it is a very pretty robe of a peignoir set. 60s on dating.

did you by any chance find a matching piece?

PS: I have been kicking myself for not looking at the vinatage side of things, until about a month ago, I would donate them to AmVets and in March I gave them about 60 55gal bags full of clothes.

hmmmm... Taskmaster's robe is knee-ish length, while the nightgown appears to be full length ~ some manufacturers would make a line of similarly styled items that would display well together in a showroom or on the sales floor, however a full length nightgown like Victoria's would either have a full length robe, or a short bed jacket, not a robe the length of Taskmasters.

I sold this exact one in the past also. This line must of been very popular as I have seen items in pink and blue in various styles.

Mary,

I am sure you are correct. I found both longer robes and shorter nightgowns of the exact same kind on etsy. One is NWT and has one of those punch card store tags with the holes that are computer readable. Does anyone know when these tags were introduced commercially?
