No shoulder pads, they just look squared off from decades on a hanger in some forgotten closet. Unlined. There's just a bit of a curve in at the waist, about 2" smaller than the bust/chest, but based on the tag graphics, it seems safe to say it's for a woman.
The inner fabric is also stamped "Cravenette". Research showed that to be a water repellent treatment for woolens, patented in about 1920. I found ads mentioning cravenette into the 50s though. Nice deco zipper pull.
It's in remarkably good condition except for uneven fading and a few small holes in the ribbed cuffs.
