Hello! Another bins find that I am wondering if anyone has insight into. This is an Erlenacher black sequined and beaded evening dress. From my research Erlenbacher was a DC based high fashion department store that operated from 1907 to 1974. It became well known when Jackie Kennedy purchased numerous items for her trousseau. I first thought possibly 60s, there is a back (shorter) zip and hook and eye closure. It has a shorter side slit on one side. It is more of a sheath fit than fitted which made me think it probably wasn’t 50s. Any thoughts or tips on what to look for? I included some closed ups of beading /sequins in case the way they are affixed is a clue.

I don’t, but maybe I can put it on and get someone to take a picture:). Let me see what I can do! I did think about 70s as well. the store went out of business in 1974, so if it was 70s it would have been in first half for sure.
