Help with dating vintage half slip - Black Lingerie by "Blanche"

Hi~

I have this pretty black half slip with the word "Darling" embroidered in light blue above the lace border. I'm unfamiliar with this label (Black Lingerie By "Blanche") and didn't have much luck finding anything online (other than a bra on Etsy). Do you think this is from the 40s or 50s? The fabric feels like satin.
