Help with dating VTG Peignoir Set Wards

Hi to everyone!

I'm new here. I need a bit of helping dating a vintage double chiffon peignoir set by Montgomary Wards.

I was googling around for the dates when Montgomery Ward closed and learned something I never knew - They were the world's first mail order business (according to Wikipedia).

Out of nowhere I am going to guess '70's on your set. So hopefully some lingerie folks will weigh in. Are there any other tags? Is the material really soft, or more crisp?
 
What a darling set! I'm going to say 70s as well, I think mid to late. The short baby-doll sleeve on the gown looks very 70s, but the peignoir sleeve is starting to look a bit more later than earlier. I recall that the big puffy sleeves with elastic at the bottom were very popular early in the 70s. Can't quite remember when this sleeve style would have been fashionable--could very well be earlier than I remember.... Hopefully Von, one of our "resident" lingerie experts, from VintagePretties will weigh in.

Amanda - the chiffon is baby soft, not crisp at all. Absolutely amazing fabric.

I'm listing this set on ebay today. I really want to keep it!! I made a deal that I could only buy it if I sold it. Because I want to keep all of them!! There like little treasures :)
