Help with dating YSL shoes

I have a pair of slingback pumps from YSL, I'm not sure if they are more recent, or from the 70's. They seem to be made of a lizard, or snake skin, but could be embossed leather. They are made in Italy, I'm unable to read the small print below the words Yves Saint Laurent on the sole of the shoes. It could be rive gauche, but I'm not sure. Thanks for any help

Hi Sheila, the odd platform sole isn't right for '70s and I think they're modern. It's a very distinctive shape, hopefully Jonathan or some will recognize and be able to help.

Agree - the way the platform is done looks modern.
