Help with Donald Brooks outfit

Hello again,

I have a Donald Brooks outfit from the early 70's and not quite sure what it is called as I have not seen anything like it on the internet. The outfit looks like a long coat but when you walk it opens up from the waist down to show pants. The pants are attached to the inside of the long floor length coat and the top is closed by hook and eye above the waist. It has a black belt around the waist. Does anyone know what the name of this type of outfit is?

It looks like a lounging outfit or a hostess set for entertaining. What is the fabric, and what is below the neckline closure (does it fall more or less open to the waist, or are there other fastenings in addition)?

Thanks for your help, the fabric feels like some kind of crepe lined in a satin of the same color as the outfit. The closures below the neckline are just snaps with two hook and eye closures at the waistline. This outfit weighs about 8 or more pounds. Thanks again.
