Hi! Found this incredibly rare and gorgeous dress by Brazilian designer/activist Zuzu Angel at the Goodwill bins, I actually spotted the pattern and thought it might be vintage Hawaiian, and just grabbed it out of a bin that was being wheeled away! It is in good condition with the exception of a few small stains, and some color bleed. See pictures. The stains are so small I think I can live with them, but I wonder if there is anything I can do about the color bleed. No fabric content tag, but it feels like a thick cotton. Any ideas? I may just end up taking it to a cleaner, because I don’t trust myself to attempt it! Just hoping is not a lost cause.
Pictures below of the color bleed, mostly on the sleeves and some on bodice.
Also, side question but wondering if anyone can explain to me the Neiman Marcus Trophy Room tag and what that was/how it worked. Dress is from the early 70s.
