Help with fabric ID on evening jacket

Hi all - I've got a gold metallic floral print evening jacket that I believe is either 1930s or 1940s - based on the style and fabric. The fabric is silky - almost a satin feel on the outside - but the interior is more of a slick feel. I don't think this would be considered lame ..
I'd appreciate any input.
Brooke

What a beauty!!

I increased the size of one of your photos to have a better look. Is the gold printed over the floral print? To me, leaving the gold aside, it looks like a 2/1 plain weave. Do you know the fiber/fibers?

Thank you Denise! The gold is printed on the fabric - does not appear to be interwoven. The outside feels like a satin blend - much silkier than the inside which has a more slick feel - rayon? Any more help would be appreciated. Is there a satin rayon where the outside is silkier than the inside?

Maybe @claireshaeffer could name this fabric.

To me, it looks like it's a 2/1 weave, which is not a satin weave but would have a somewhat satin-y feel. I may not be seeing the fabric correctly, and it may be a 1/1 weave and different fibers in the weft and warp to give the feel you are describing.
