Help with Faux Fur Coat

I don't think this is a faux fur. It looks like some sort of curly lamb to me. Love the color! Our fur expert will hopefully be along to help you out with this one. It looks quite old to as in early 30s.

That is a great coat, and a great color and style. The fur looks like mountain goat and could be dyed that lovely warm color. It also could be lamb as has been stated. My guess might be 1960s to 1970s, but others will come along and chime in.
Can you take a close up of the fur? And maybe a close up of one of the buttons?

I don't think it is faux anymore but at first I did because the fur feels very coarse.

Thank you Caryn! The buttons seem to be made out a light weight wood. The lining does feel silky but there are no tags anywhere other than the one pictured.
